Glorifying God | The Clarity of Christ for a Confused Church | 1 Corinthians - Week 21 | Tony Woodmansee, Evangelism & Outreach
The moon has no light of its own. It only reflects. That picture sits at the center of this message from 1 Corinthians 10:23 through 11:1, where Paul takes something as ordinary as eating and drinking and says do all of it to the glory of God. No part of life falls outside your Christianity. We look at how God's glory is revealed in creation, in his presence, and perfectly in Jesus, then work through what that means for the freedoms we hold onto. Sometimes what stands between us and God's glory is not obvious sin. It is just preference.
