The book of Revelation has been seen as both terrifying and mysterious… many call it “scary” and most get so confused and lost in the book that they become disinterested or frustrated and eventually close the book, missing out on the blessing that comes to those who read and study it (Revelation 1:3). Additionally, many are so intrigued by chapters 4 through 22 ("what is to come…”) that they lose sight of the first 3 chapters that are the foundation of the book. The book of Revelation is about NONE OTHER THAN KING JESUS Himself - it’s a revelation of Him in all His glory that will be coming, and Jesus helps John see that in order to encourage the churches that are stuck between the already (Jesus resurrecting from the dead) and the not yet (Jesus returning to make all things new). Did you get that? Read that last sentence again… because, that’s where we are!! So, there are lessons to be learned from the churches John was pastoring, and we need to know what those lessons are!! You’re invited to dig deep with us as we learn and grow and are blessed by the reading and study of God’s Word… Let’s do this!
