The word “serving” is a tricky word in today’s society. It carries now (as it did then) a somewhat negative connotation that we are “below” someone else… that we place our desires and wishes aside for the good and benefit of helping someone else. We see this done in a relationship setting, and we see it done in a community service setting (i.e., police officers, fire fighters, etc.). But what does it look like to serve Jesus? This series will address the concept of service to Him and to others.
