We desire for each child to experience a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. We also value a child's relationships within the small group setting as they relate to their small group leader and other children within the group. As families commit to attending on a regular basis, children are placed in a group of familiar faces where relationships can grow!
Safety
We provide a safe environment for children to enjoy. We want children to be safe and feel safe, and parents to rest assured that their child is well cared for while they are in the service. Therefore, every child’s hand stamp number is matched to a parent hand stamp number and every volunteer is screened with a federal background check. In addition, we will strive to have two adults with children at all times.
Fun
We want kids to have fun! Our desire is to see kids have such a good time they will be begging to come back. We believe creating this fun environment for kids will help children learn more about Jesus. We use games, crafts, props, technology and creative stories to communicate the message of Jesus, and we think it’s okay to have FUN at church!
Age Appropriate
We believe that the Bible is the most amazing book ever written! We strive to bring its stories to life through activities and discussions geared toward the children’s learning levels. The content of CommUNITY KIDS is meant to keep children engaged. We want all children to love God’s word and understand the value of applying it to their lives.
Teamwork
We believe that what happens at home is more important than what happens at church. CommUNITY Kids is partnering with parents by providing resources, support, and encouragement as they lead their families from where they are to where God wants them to be.
