Nici, along with her husband, Pastor Jason, and the rest of the launch team, began commUNITY church based out of her living room in late 2012. Since then, she has been part of the Creative Arts leadership team, focusing on leading worship and working with the team on parts of video production. While trying to help Pastor Jason stay in line, she wrangles her two boys as well as her foster children, all of whom she loves dearly. She also works as a case manager to help the families of individuals with disabilities gain the services they need to grow and lead as independent a life as possible.

She is passionate about Jesus, her children, her family, and discipling women, especially those working to overcome sexual, physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual abuse. Her story is one marked by God’s continual pursuit of her, showering her with love, grace, and strength through trials that could otherwise be described as heart-breaking. Through it all, she desires nothing more than to help others find forgiveness, gain strength, and live a life that points others straight to Jesus.
