Holly TerryDeacon / Director of REACH | Holly.Terry@beincommunity.com
Holly Terry lives in Muncie, Indiana and has been a part of commUNITY church since its inception in 2012, serving on the launch team. It has been very enlightening and a valuable life and spiritual experience being part of a church plant. Matthew 28:19 tells His people to "go out and make disciples..." witnessing that in action in a huge way by planting a church brought her to a new level of urgency for Christ. Holly has since become a Deacon and Outreach Director for commUNITY church.
Holly grew up in church with a strong Christian family background. She was saved as a teenager and continued her love for Jesus through college, marriage (19 years), and in raising 3 children (now teenagers). In her early adult life she felt a pull towards being involved in the community in some manner as well as the need she found through her job at the VA. She learned she had a love for people and a recognition of life's messy struggles and felt a need to be involved in the lives of others. Holly then returned to Ball State University in which she obtained a Concentrated Bachelors Degree in Social Work in 2013. Holly has since focused on the community developing events to provide the local school with food, a safe location for families to bring their children for games, food, and fellowship during Fall celebrations (annual), and gifts for families at Christmas (annual). Holly is also involved in community groups and leads a women's group every Saturday morning. Our goal is to provide love, biblical knowledge, and provide a support system to women of all ages.
